The Following cancellation and damage policy applies to the Booking of Venues as well as Accommodation at Glen Rest Country Lodge.
A Booking will only be confirmed once a 50% deposit is received.
The balance of the money owed is to be made payable on date of arrival.
20% of the total fee will be charged in the event that you cancel within one (1) week of your stay at the Lodge.
50% of the total fee will be charged in the event that you cancel within 2 days of your stay at the Lodge.
An invoice for an additional 50% will be sent to you in the event of a “No Show”.
Should breakages, loss or damage to property, linen and equipment occur, an invoice will be sent to you for the payment of these damages. This includes dry cleaning and carpet cleaning due to smoking in the rooms, which is strictly prohibited.
The balance of 50% to be paid two (2) days prior to the panned event.
The following cancellation fees apply:
20% of the total fee will be charged in the event that you cancel within one (1) week prior to the event.
50% of the total fee will be charged in the event that you cancel within 2 days of the planned event.
100% of the payment made will be forfeited by the client if the customer cancels on the day of the event or has a “No show” for whatever reason.

We require a R1500 refundable deposit for any breakage / extended hours. Extended hours will be billed at a fixed rate of R500 per half an hour
